    The 13th National Symposium on High-Power Microwaves was successfully held in Hangzhou, China recently. As the largest and most prestigious academic event in China’s high-power microwave technology field, the symposium gathered leading experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and industry-leading enterprises. The conference focused on the latest research progress, key challenges, and future development trends in high-power microwave technology, facilitating in-depth discussion and exchange.

    Our company, HVS, was invited to participate in the event. During the symposium, we demonstrated a series of core high-voltage components for high-power microwave systems and accelerator applications, including high-voltage diodes, rectifier assemblies, and high-voltage modules. These products, known for their high voltage endurance, high-power capacity, excellent fast recovery characteristics, and long-term reliability, attracted considerable attention from attending experts and scholars.

    At the exhibition, our technical team engaged in multiple rounds of in-depth technical exchanges with researchers from prominent institutions such as Chinese Academy of Sciences, key universities, etc. Discussions focused on the specific requirements of high-power microwave sources and pulsed power devices for high-voltage components in terms of voltage rating, switching speed, and radiation hardening, HVS sharing its latest solutions in materials, processes, and testing validation. “The rapid advancement of high-power microwave technology demands higher performance limits for core high-voltage components,” stated our Technical Director Zhang Yu during the exchanges. “HVS remains committed to in-depth R&D in high-voltage semiconductor technology. Our products have been successfully applied in several national-level major research facilities and frontier research projects. We look forward to establishing closer cooperation with industry peers through this symposium and jointly promoting independent innovation and engineering applications of high-power microwave technology in China.”
